Ice Park at Jordanna Park
If you’re coming to Krakow during the Christmas season and you’re looking for things to do then ice skating in Krakow is a great way to get into the Christmassy vibe.
Most visitors will be familiar with the ice skating rink at Galeria Krakowska shopping mall but for something a bit different then we would recommend the Ice Park at Jordanna Park, just west of the Old Town.
This outdoor skating rink is located about a 20-25 minute taxi ride away from Krakow’s Main Square and will only cost you about 25 PLN (about £ 5) in taxi fare.
The Ice Park differs from other ice skating rinks in Krakow as it comprises three separate areas. A large 1200m2 skating rink, a smaller 400m2 skating rink for children and a winding iced path which meanders through the ice park.
It is not open all year round, for example in 2024, the first opening day was 30th November
Prices to rent skates are very reasonable.
For example, 90 minutes skating time including skate rental comes to 49 PLN (around £ 10). There are reduced rates for children and family tickets also.
You can also rent assistance walkers, helmets and even a locker to store your belongings.
Galeria Krakowska Ice Skating Rink
This ice skating rink is right outside the Galeria Krakowska shopping mall and the train station and is probably the most well known ice skating rink in Krakow for Christmas tourists.
It’s not the biggest ice rink but what it lacks in size it makes up for in location as it is within easy walking distance of the Old Town a vast majority of hotels and apartments.
Admission is around 15 PLN and ice skate rental is 10 PLN

Cracovia Ice Skating Rink
This is an all weather, indoor skating rink which is home of the Cracovia ice hockey team.
It is located east of the Old Town but due to it being an active sporting venue for the ice hockey team then availability to the general public is limited and erratic depending on game schedules.
Prices are 25 PLN for 90 minutes or 20 PLN for 60 minutes.
Skate rentals are 17 PLN for plastic ice skates and 20 PLN for leather ones.
